Philippa is a London based photographer specialising in portraits, weddings, events and PR work. She is an associate member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and a member of The Shed, a group of artists and photographers selling and exhibiting their work in the UK and Spain.
At seventeen her parents gave her her first camera, an Olympus OM-1, and it was then that her passion for photography started. A brief detour via a Graphic Design degree and four years in publishing ended in a redundancy that gave way to a career as a professional photographer. Now almost eight years in she couldn’t think of a more perfect way to live her London life.
In contrast to her fast paced commercial work, Philippa loves to travel and explore and this is where the Escape exhibition was born.
Philippa’s existing clients include: The National Trust, ITV, Arts Council England, Fox International Channels Ltd., Penguin Books, Harlequin Mills & Boon, The Westway Development Trust, Private Eye, Reckitt Benckiser, Informa, The Economist, the Barbican, the YMCA, National Geographic and BMI.
